The Word Family Garden wouldn’t be complete without a butterfly! In Unit 6, students learn the -et and -ut CVC word families.
Word Family Sliders are a simple way to learn the new CVC words.
Students can practice recalling the words that are included in each word family. Use a white board marker or magnet letters to practice.
Find the missing letters in the CVC Missing Sounds mats.

Word Family Practice Pages
Most students enjoy cutting and pasting activities. These CVC Cut and Paste pages give the opportunity to practice spelling out the CVC words they have learned.
