I am happy to say that I just finished one of our most popular products…
Color by Sight Word Sentences (1st Grade Edition)
This packet includes the following list of words:
after, again, an, any, ask, as, by, could, every, fly, from, give, going, had, has, her, him, his, how, just, know, let, live, may, of, old, once, open, over, put, round, some, stop, take, thank, them, then, think, walk, were and when.
Teaching sight words is such an important component to any balanced reading program because it allows students to become more confident readers. When students can easily read sight words, they can then focus on phonics and practice using their decoding skills instead of struggling to read every.single.word.
Here are a few sight word statistics:
* 12 sight words make up 25% of those we read and write
*100 sight words make up 50% of those we read and write
*About 300 sight words account for about 75% of those we read and write
This little girls would color all day long if I would let her 🙂 These Color by Sight Word Sentences gives her an opportunity to color with a purpose!

You can find this packet along with other versions in our shops…
We also have a Pre-Primer Edition
Primer Edition and

Hi, I really like your sight word coloring papers. Could you tell me where you get your words — dulch or fry? We work on the first 300 fry words in first grade — would be nice to have this for the harder words. I did see the list of words you used in the first set, but not the others.
Thanks! Faith
is there any way to just get the first game packet instead of all of them?
