I love finding EASY art projects for my girls! As we all know, pinterest is a goldmine when it comes to things like this! I recently saw a super easy circle painting art project on pinterest that I wanted to try with my girls. It turned out to be a HUGE success! Absolutely beautiful and SO EASY!
Materials Needed:
* Black tempera paint
*A circle cup of some sort (I used a small plastic cup)
*Heavy cardstock paper or drawing paper
*Watercolors
Step #1:
Dip your circle cup into the black tempera paint and make overlapping circles onto your paper. The girls enjoyed this part of the art project and it was even fun and easy for the 3 year old. We talked about how to overlap the circles to create an art piece with more dimension and spaces to paint.
Step 3:
Use watercolors to paint inside of the spaces.
This is such an easy art project for any age and they turned out beautiful!

Those came out so cute! I am totally thinking about doing something like this during our "color science" unit in September.

Art Sub Lessons says
Hi, I hope you don’t mind. I linked to this post on my blog for art teachers, Art Sub Lessons. I think art teachers would find a way to adapt this to a sub lesson. Jan https://artsublessons.blogspot.com/2017/04/art-sub-idea-east-shape-tracing.html
