Kids LOVE to color and that is why coloring books are such a big hit! My girls would color ALL day if I would let them:) Therefore, I keep making my “Color by Sight Word Sentences” packs! I just finished up our new Winter Color by Sight Word Sentences and I have two Moffatt girls that couldn’t be happier!
This set works with ALL of the pre-primer sight words on the Dolch list. Each sheet has a color code with a specific set of sight words. Kids can practice recognizing the sight words by coloring in the picture. But the BEST part is that they can now use these sight words in context by reading a sight word sentence at the bottom of the page.
My littlest little Moffatt girl has fallen in love with our new set!! She is finally starting to recognize and read sight words and she LOVES to color too! I was able to adapt the sheets to her needs by reading the word with her and then circling the sight word with the corresponding crayon color.
Although Audrey has already mastered all of her pre-primer words, this is a super way for her to become a better speller with the pre-primer sight words. I am all about REVIEW, REVIEW, REVIEW! It is a home run for me when I can make a printable that meets BOTH of their needs:)

Love them!! Are you going to do primer and 1st grade lists too? I want to wait for the bundle if there is going to be one 🙂

Oh these are great! We enjoyed the Christmas ones so much. Thank you! I noticed that you said you worked on spelling them with Audrey. Is there anything special that we can do to teach them to spell their sight words… I know this is probably a silly questions…can you tell I am new to this homeschooling thing..lol.
