Here are a few pages of the Kindergarten Packet “in action”…
Puppies and hearts are always fun!
On this page we skip counted by 5’s…
hen we extended the activity by skip counting by 10’s and placing a dot on the tens!
Fun, fast and effective!
When we pull out the dot markers, everything is just so much better!
This time we used our dot markers (bingo dabbers) to count and graph the various Valentine items…
Fun and highly engaging for this little Moffatt Girl!
Dotted and graphed!
Find and Tally Sight Words!
These are wildly popular and the littlest Moffatt Girl begs me do more!
I put a few in the packet this time 🙂
We used a different color for each word…
Yes…this find the hidden sight word thing is pretty FUN!
We didn’t actually do tally marks this time, but instead she just wrote the number.
That works for me 🙂
This little Moffatt Girl is a pretty typical little girl…she can’t hold still for long.
Sometimes you just need to stand on your chair and find the sight words 😉
When it is all said and done, there is a LOT of sight word practice on ONE page!
Next up was our simple Word Family Word Search!
She was SO happy because this was a word search she could actually do!
She felt like such a “big girl”!
he was completely into this page! She felt so successful!
She even sounded out each word as she looked for it…
Here is a simple way to introduce Greater Than, Less Than and Equal to!
LOVE those cute little gators!
First we cut them out…
Then we pretend that the alligator eats everything… (haha)
Then we worked on it…
and we mastered the concept!
Next up…
measuring with a heart ruler of course!
measuring with a heart ruler of course!
