I LOVE to make learning fun and I think we succeeded with our new CVCC Word Family Word Work packet! Our CVC packet was a huge hit, so I decided to make a CVCC one, too!
This packet is interactive and FUN! I wanted to include as many engaging activities on one page so that students would have hands-on opportunities to practice each CVCC word family. These are perfect for centers, homework, spelling instruction and more!
There are 3 different activities on each sheet…
#1-Read the word in the boxes and color only the words that match the word family. I have included a variety of fonts in this section so that students can have practice identifying and reading words in different printed and published styles.
#2- Learning becomes a game when they get to spin a word family! Simply use a paperclip and a pencil to spin a word and write the CVCC word on the line.
#3- Box up those word family words! It is just the right amount of challenge for kids to keep it interactive and engaging!
