Counting to 100 Honey Bee Printables

Audrey has been trying to count to 100 for awhile now. She counts, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29…what’s next? So I decided to make some honey bee counting printables.

* You have to help the right honey bee find his hive. Each honey bee has a number on his wing that matches up to the hive.

1. Print the printables and laminate.
2. Cut out all the pieces or just the ones you want to want to work. For example, you may want to start with just 0-20 and then work your way up to larger numbers.
3. We first sorted the piles under the honey hives and then put them numerical order. This process made it much more manageable.
4. We also read the numbers in just the hives and learned to count by 10s.

Thank you for your sweet comment. I use the laminator on my side bar under Tools we use. You can also get it at Target. But the best deal I have found are the laminating pouches. WAY cheaper than Target or Staples:) That link is also on my side bar. Thanks for letting me link up at your blog!
I saw your idea through another blogger and love your bee counting to 100. My kindergartners need to just count to 100 but once they reach 1st grade they should know what every number looks like up to 100… silly isn't it? So I was clicking your link to your Teacher's Notebook and was wondering if they were just plain bees… but NO you have numbered all the bees!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you so much from me and my whole kindergarten team. I can't wait to print these out and make it a whole station.:)
