The ABC uppercase caterpillar was such a huge success at our house that I decided to make a lowercase version of the abc caterpillar to match. I made the lowercase a bit different and I am happy with the teaching tool it has become.
I also received a request by e-mail to put the upper and lowercase letters together. I made three different caterpillars for you to pick from, or use all of them:)
Some skills you can use when playing with the lowercase caterpillar:
*match the lowercase letters to the upper case letters
*shape patterns- circle, square, diamond, triangle (repeat)
*color patterns- red, orange, yellow, green, blue (rainbow colors)
*identifying shapes
*sounds
*building simple words
*abc order
*phonics
