An Oil Pan and the ABC’s (FREEBIE)!

We are loving our new oil pan ($10) and I wanted to show you how the 2 year old is using it for her learning experiences. This activity can easily be adapted to preschool and Kindergarten children as well.
We used our ABC Puzzle Printables with magnets to help reinforce the letter sounds.

If you like our FREE printables, we would be very grateful if you added our shop as one of your favorites:) Thank you so much!
Sophia matched the letters, but said the sound of each letter instead of the name of each letter.
This activity could also be extended with more advanced children by making simple CVC words with the magnets. Likewise, this printable could also be used to teach simple one-to-one correspondence with the ABC’s.
We attached magnets to the back of each letter…
So there you have it, an oil pan, a pink tutu, tennis shoes and a happy 2 year old!

Little Literacy Learners
Amazing! I was going to use letters from an old Scrabble game but I think I'll use your alphabet instead. Thanks so much. Oh, and I agree with Mrs. McKown about the pReCiOuS model in the tutu!!!

The Corner On Character
I've seen the oil pan on Pinterest a while ago and I thought it was just the coolest thing. I have to see if I can schmooze my principal into letting me attach that to the wall somehow. Wonder if they make a command hook strong enough for that?
You have some lucky children to have YOU for a mommy 🙂

Thank you Denise! You are so sweet! I wanted to try a command hook too, but someone mentioned wall scotch tape. Not sure what it is, but I may give it a try.
Love the tutu. I think I need one.
I need to get an oil pan!!
