Sight Word Scoops!

I am so happy with our new Sight Word Scoops!  I know….the ice-cream scoops are out of control 🙂  We have CVC Scoops, Math Scoops, Beginning Sound Scoops and now Sight Word Scoops!

I LOVE our new Sight Word Scoops because they incorporate a variety of fonts which allows students to recognize and read words in different prints and published styles.  I also believe that sight words are an important component to any successful reading program and the statistic prove it!

12 Sight Words make up 25% of those we read and write.
100 Sight Words make up 50% of those we read and write.
About 300 Sight Words account for about 75% of those we read and write.
The above statistics show the importance of sight words and therefore, I try to make learning sight words FUN!  I think I hit a home run with these new Sight Word Scoops because they totally hands-on and allow kids to color, cut and paste!

    I would defenetly be in major need of this bundle! You're the only one who does ALL the sight words I need in your packets! Such as the word GIVE!!
