Let’s start with some marble painting. Actually, we just used some rubber balls and it worked just fine. Take an old cardboard box with sides and put the paint on the edges of the paper…
Or you can put dots of paint right on the paper….
Next, put your marbles or rubber balls into the box and rock back and forth, letting the balls roll over the paint to spread it around. This was exceptionally fun for both girls…
They even teamed up…
Let the leaves and pumpkin dry and then cut out the shapes. Add your “I’m thankful for…” labels on each leaf…
For our next craft, we used Q-tips to dot paint our fall trees. I was really surprised at how well little Sophia did on this project:) Be sure to do it in your bathing suit of course;)
We also made tissue paper crafts with the pumpkin. I think that these sort of crafts really help to build up focus and patience. It took Audrey about 1/2 to complete this craft, but she was so proud of it when she was finished.
When you crumple up all those little pieces of tissue paper, it also helps build up those fine motor skills needed for writing:)

These are GREAT Annie! Printing them now to use with my little one when she wakes up from her nap. We have been trying to enjoy lots of crafts since we have both been a bit under the weather. She will love them, thanks!! Julie
Naps are rare in our household nowadays! Keep in mind she was sick with a sinus infection and had been coughing a lot at night, so she was missing some sleep. Of course, the night before last night was the first night she didn't cough and wouldn't you know, she didn't nap yesterday! LOL!
What cool crafts. I love the scrunched paper pumpkin-even my five year old near has the patience for paper scrunching which is a pain as its such an easy craft for them to do independently!
