CENTER NUMBER 1: Flip and Compare
Flip two cards. Count and compare the number of items on the cards.
CENTER NUMBER 2: Grab, Count and Compare
Grab some counters from the bowl with each hand. Count how many you grabbed in each hand, and compare the numbers.
CENTER NUMBER 3: Spin, Fill and Compare
Spin the spinner two times. Fill the ten frames to match the spins. Compare the numbers.
CENTER NUMBER 4: Which Set Has More?
Count the number of balloons on each side. Decide which side has more balloons.
CENTER NUMBER 5: Which Set Has Fewer?
Count the number of beads on each side. Decide which side has fewer beads.
CENTER NUMBER 6: More Than or Less Than 5?
Count the objects on the card. Decide if the number is more than or less than 5.
CENTER NUMBER 7: Spin, Build and Compare
Spin the spinner two times. Use snap cubes to build the number. Compare your spins.
CENTER NUMBER 8: Flip, Fill and Compare
Flip a card for each jar. Fill the jars with the same number of objects and compare.
CENTER NUMBER 9: Show More Than…
Flip a card. Count the number of fish on the card. Put a number of fish in the fish tank that is more than the number of fish on the card.
CENTER NUMBER 10: Show Less Than…
Flip a card. Count the number of buttons on the card. Put a number of buttons in the jar that is less than the number of buttons on the card.
CENTER NUMBER 11: Find and Cover Less Than
Count the number of objects in each box. Cover the boxes that have less than the given number.
CENTER NUMBER 12: Following Directions- Less and More
Listen to the directions from your teacher. Circle or clip the set that has less or more.
CENTER NUMBER 13: Count and Compare
Count the number of snap cubes on each side of the scale. Find the matching numbers and compare them.
CENTER NUMBER 14: Spin, Count and Compare
Spin the spinner two times. Use snap cubes to count the number. Compare the two spins.
CENTER NUMBER 15: Hungry Alligators
Look at the number on the strip. The alligator wants to eat the largest number. Find a number that will make the picture true.
CENTER NUMBER 16: Roll, Show and Compare
Roll two dice. Count out the numbers to show how many and compare. Color a happy face for the larger number. Color a sad face for the smaller number.
CENTER NUMBER 17: Spin, Fill and Compare
Spin the spinner two times. Fill the jars for each spin. Compare the number of items in each jar. Color a happy face for the jar that has more items.
CENTER NUMBER 18: Comparing Numbers
Spin the spinner. Find a ten frame with a number that matches your spin.
CENTER NUMBER 19: More, Less and the Same
Read the directions on the top of the card. Count the number of cubes. Place cubes to match the directions at the top.

Count the items in each square. Cover the items that are less than the given number.

Count the items in each square. Cover the items that are more than the given number.
