I love making products for my girls that they totally LOVE! These Alphabet Phonics Headbands are perfect! Both Moffatt Girls LOVE coloring so this made them super happy!
The headbands are designed to reinforce and teach each letter and their sound. Each headband has a letter with a picture and corresponding smaller pictures to help teach/reinforce the phonics sound made by the letter. It is a super FUN and effective way to teach letter.
The littlest Moffatt Girl was a bit shy around the camera so I couldn’t capture her enjoying her headband. However, she did color and cut out the letter C headband (not shown). I loved hearing her say, C for cat… /c/ /c/ cat… /c/ /c/ carrot… /c/ /c/ cookie! Such a FUN way to learn and reinforce letter sounds:)
I am totally in love with this little girl! Her smile just melts my heart and she likes her headband:)
I LOVE this idea! Is there any chance you'll be making these for sight words? That would fun in first! 🙂
Thanks for your fabulous ideas!

Hi Sarah!
We do have Sight Word Headband in our Ready2Read level 3, but I am also making them in a bit different style:). I just need more time or less sleep;)
I SERIOUSLY love these! My kinder teacher friends NEED to get this! I am looking forward to the sight word version – but go get some sleep first. 😀
I can wait. ;P
Thanks Traci! That means a lot!
I LOVE these!! My friend and I were talking about making something like this for our classes this year… now I can just purchase them from you!! So excited.

Thank you Stephanie:)
These are fantastic. Would it be possible to include both upper and lowercase letters? Or even sell the product as a document that's editable (powerpoint, word, photoshop, etc.) so that we can modify to suit our class? I'd love to include the the matching images from our phonics program.
Hi Mrs. Cowling,
As of now, they do not have lowercase clipart available. I cannot sell an editable document due to clipart restrictions. Sorry:(
Perhaps you can have the students cut out the clipart and add it to the headband as an addition.
