Keeping Math Fun and Simple with Dominos! (Freebie included)
Share this:
We have been working on simple addition a lot and I wanted to incorporate some fun, hands-on ways to make math more interactive and exciting. The other day we played a VERY simple but EFFECTIVE addition game with dominos.
We began by folding a piece of paper into 8 squares so we could practice 16 addition problems. We placed all of the dominos face down and mixed them up.
Player #1 begins by picking a domino and writing an addition sentence with the numbers. Player #2 does the same and the person with the highest number wins a point.
Be sure to pick up this Fall Math Pack FREEBIE, which includes some domino addition and more!
