I am SO excited because I have finally finished my pre-primer Break the Sight Word Code sentences and posted them on TeachersNotebook!

There are 30 Break the Sight Word Code worksheets that cover all 40 pre-primer sight words and some simple CVC words.  Kids will LOVE using the Break the Sight Word Code sheets as they become detectives while solving the sight word sentences!  FUN while leaning to READ!!

Just put them in sheet protectors and they become an excellent addition to your literacy centers.

Here are some Kindergarten standards that are addressed in this product:
Reading
Phonemic Awareness
1.9-Blend vowel-consonant sounds orally to make words or syllables.
Decoding and Word Recognition
1.14-Match all consonant and short-vowel sounds to appropriate letters.
1.15-Read simple one-syllable and high frequency words (sight words).
