My Baby Turns 3!

On Friday we celebrated Sophia’s 3rd Birthday!  My baby turned 3!!  Oh how I love this sweetie!  This little girls just melts my heart for so many reasons!!  She really is a miracle, especially since the doctors told us that we couldn’t have children.

Obviously they were wrong and here is the evidence…
Sophia was much more concerned about her crackers than smiling at the camera for Mommy:)

We have been planning our trip to the Bippity Boppity Boutique for a long time now.  What is the Bippity Boppity Boutique?  It is a special shop at Disneyland that little girls can go to get all pricessed up!  They get a  princess gown of their choice, make-up, shoes, a purse, painted fingernails, a special princess hair style, princess pictures and the whole royal treatment!
We did it with Audrey and she LOVED it!

My little Sophia had a different experience.  She walked into the Bippity Boppity Boutique and cried.  She didn’t want all that stuff done to her.  At the end of the day, we walked out with a Snow White dress, purse and a headband.  That was all she wanted.  She is so shy and so precious.  I think she is the prettiest Snow White EVER!  Shoes and all;)

My Sophia is shy, but she also knows what she wants.  She is a “I do it myself” type of girl.  Sometimes she gets frustrated and upset if I try to show her how to do something.  She had taught me that I need to adjust MY teaching style to HER learning needs, not the other way around.

This precious little girl is our is a gift from God!  We can not love her any more, even if we tried!  Happy Birthday Sweet Sophia!

By the way, do you know how happy it made me that she wanted a Pooh Bear cake?  So happy!  She is still little…my sweet little Sophia!  She STILL loves the Pooh Bear ride.  I wish these days would never end, but they are ALL precious and gifts from God!
