Practice AAB patterns with these festive Halloween and fall pattern strips featuring a candy corn, a jack-o’-lantern pumpkin, and a smiling scarecrow. Students identify the AAB repeating color pattern, such as blue, blue, red or orange, orange, green, then copy or extend it in the empty boxes using math manipulatives or crayons.
