We are enjoying our summer and I hope you are too!! Since Audrey LOVES to color, I decided to try a fun little project with her. When I taught 5th grade, we would have the students trace their bodies and add the organs and skeletal structure so they could learn about the human body. It was always a very popular activity with the kids and it is popular at The Moffatt Elementary School, too!
By the way, this is also a great way to add some fun into measurement!
How cute it that? So simple, yet so much fun!!
These turned out great and so close to the "actual" person!! I do this with my measurement unit and the kids love it!! Thanks for sharing!

What fun…I am sure my little grandkids would love this too, especially the Sweet Pea. I will have to make sure they have really colorful clothes on when we do it. Fun learning times!
Jackie…I think it totally helped that we had fun colors on:)
She is so cute. This is a great idea for any grade. I remember doing this in school.

What a fun activity. It looks like it kept your daughter happily engaged for some time! Did she get to pick out her outfit? Very colorful!! This turned out great. Renee
Love it! My daughter loves to have her outline drawn with chalk when we're decorating our sidewalks outside. 🙂
